Septembers Meeting

Attention AITP student members..... This week we will host our monthly AITP meeting. Please mark you calanders and be sure to make it this Saturday to Lab 3 @ 12:45pm. We will have pizza before hand and then the meeting will start around 1PM lasting about 1 hour. IT students come out and show your support, eat some pizza and learn something too. This week we have a special guest and would like to invite Trent Williams from ISACA. Previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, ISACA now goes by its acronym only.

Junes Meeting!!

Just a reminder that this Saturday is our AITP meeting for the month of June. It will be held in lab 3 @ 1:00pm with pizza served before hand in the breakroom. Subruto has lined us up with a guest speaker for the meeting. We have the privilage to invite Ms. Heather Swinarski BS., MS., CAPM., PMP, Senior IT Project Manager from InfoGroup, she is going to give a thirty minute presentation on Agile Project Management Methodologies. We hope to see you there and remember to invite a friend or classmate.

Mays Meeting

ITT's AITP would like to thank Curtis LaMasters for his presentation at our May Meeting. It was very informative and at the end he opened it up to a Q/A session for really about anything. The meeting went very well and students enjoyed the time he spent with us.

Mays monthly meeting

Please come out and join us on Saturday May 21st for our monthly meeting. We will be going over some cool new things and I am working on bringing in a guest speaker. Please come to lab 3 at 12:45 for the meeting and free pizza. Make sure you bring a friend or a classmate.

Aprils Meeting Minutes

Aprils meeting opened up with pizza like always. Jered started with an introduction and welcoming to the new members. Jered explained what the club does and the benefits of being a part of it. He then went on to talk about Infotec 2011.

Following Suburto did a presentation on cloud computing. We talked and learned about the differences this has on the IT world today. We then went to the CompTIA website and looked at different test offered and where to take them.

Closing we all talked about growing the club and making an effort to always come to meetings.

April Meeting

March Meeting Update

Hi everyone I just wanted to send out a quick update about the meeting this month. Due to the new quarter starting and some new students showing interest in the club we have moved the meeting to this Saturday the 26th of March at 12:45 pm in Lab 3.

This month we are going to continue with the CompTIA training. Please feel free to bring a guest, it can be a spouse, a friend, a classmate or anyone who would like to attend and have a good time and learn something about IT at the same time.

We hope to see you all there! If there is anything you would like to see the club talk or learn about please write it down and bring your ideas to the meeting. Take care and we will see you Saturday

MARCH MEETING

Hey fellow AITP memebers, just a reminder that this Saturday is our monthly meeting in Lab 3 @ 1:00 pm. Hope to see you all you all there. Remember to bring a friend or a fellow classmate, we want to grow this chapter to be the largest student chapter in the state and it shouldn't be a problem. Come on its ITT we are a technical school we should have the strongest AITP club around.

Hi Everyone! Thanks again for attending this last meeting! We had a pretty good turn out and we are excited to see how many more we can get to join. So tell all your friends how much fun you had! Let them know this is a great place not only to learn about cool new techniques, but it is also a place to meet new and interesting people to share Ideas with and this is also a Great Networking tool!

This week we started out with our President Jered Kuhfahl welcoming everyone to the meeting. Mark McCoy then was talking about Network Ground Zero. Then finally we went over more in the security plus certification.


All in all this months meeting was a success! I look forward to seeing everyone at the next meeting and hopefully new faces. Thanks for participating and Ill see you guys on the flip side!

January 15th Meeting

Hi Everyone! Thank you so much for attending this last meeting! We had a pretty good turn out and Im excited to see how many more we can get to join. So tell all your friends how much fun you had! Let them know this is a great place not only to learn about cool new techniques, but it is also a place to meet new and interesting people to share Ideas with and this is also a Great Networking tool!

This week we started out with our President Jared welcoming everyone to the meeting. I was not there for this part. I then came in when Mark McCoy was talking about Network Ground Zero (More on this in my next blog). Then finally we went over chapter 6 in Network plus certification.

I went over everyones question sheet, for what you want to see at the meetings. There were only two things that everyone wanted to see. First is guest speakers. I and the other officers of the club will work on getting guest speakers. Personally I would like to see one at every meeting and I will work hard to see that that gets done. The second thing everyone wanted to see at the meetings is Hands on Projects. I do believe what Mark was talking about in Network Ground Zero is exactly that. Again I will have more info on that as soon as I talk with him.

All in all this months meeting was a success! I look forward to seeing everyone at the next meeting and hopefully new faces. Thanks for participating and Ill see you guys on the flip side!

January Meeting

ITT-Tech students, YES its already time again for our monthly AITP club meeting. Like always this week be in Lab 3 with pizza at 12:30 and meeting at 1:00.

Its hard to believe that we are already on the third weekend of a new year. Lets make this year a stellar one for the ITT AITP club. I would like to see our membership grow to at least double if not triple what it is right now, and for that to happen it takes YOU!!!

Please come join us for a laid back get together of like minded people and get to know some new faces and learn some about IT in the process.
